Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young insists the NBA needs the likes of Zion Williamson and Ja Morant.
New Orleans Pelicans star Williamson is embroiled in a scandal after porn star Moriah Mills publicly attacked him on social media after the basketball player posted a picture of his pregnant girlfriend.
While Morant, of the Memphis Grizzlies, was given a 25-game ban for appearing to brandish a gun on camera for a second time.
Young, who began his career in the NBA just a year before the pair, has said the league needs both players and believes ‘they will pull out on the right side.’
‘You hate to see it,’ he said on his own podcast From The Point.

‘I mean, for me, I know them personally, so I really hope they get out of this situation and pull out on the right side because they’re so talented, they’re so good.
‘The league needs these types of players for it to go, because obviously LeBron [James], guys like [Kevin Durant], these guys are getting older, so guys are about to start being out of the league.
‘You need guys like Ja and Zion, to be in the league because they’re both really good dudes, and I’m pulling for both of them, and I think they will pull out on the right side.
‘For Zion, I think it’s just getting healthy for him. He just needs to get on the court, and I just hope he really gets healthy.’
Forward Williamson has hardly been able to stay on the court, playing just 29 games last season, after missing the entire 2021-22 year and has surpassed the 60-game mark just once in his four years as a pro.
Williamson’s offseason has gotten off to a rough start in his personal life as well, as he was called out by porn star Mills online after announcing he and liverpool drakt his girlfriend Ahkeema were expecting a daughter.
Mills went on a Twitter tirade after the news became public, claiming saying she had slept with the Pelicans star the week prior and saying he ‘better pray’ she was not pregnant.
The adult performer also released alleged texts between the pair later on.

The 23-year-old Morant was hit with a 25-game suspension by the NBA earlier this month after two incidents in as many months of him appearing to brandish a gun on camera.
First, he filmed himself holding a pistol in a Denver strip club and later was filmed holding a weapon in a car with a friend.
Morant said in a statement when his suspension was announced: ‘I’ve had time to reflect and I realize how much hurt I’ve caused. I want to apologize to the NBA, the Grizzlies, my teammates and the city of Memphis.
